Gerald "Jerry" Bellaty

Gerald “Jerry” Bellaty, age 71 entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2014. Husband of the late Roberta Fischer Bellaty. Son of the late Joseph Bellaty and Veronica Helena Jeffery Bellaty. Father of Mario Bellaty and Marquito B. Lane. Grandfather of Michael Bellaty and Billy Lane III. Father-in-law of Billy Lane Jr. Brother of Joan Rennalls (Calvin), Maureen Belletty, Carol Belletty and the late Richard Belletty. Gerald was born in Georgetown, Guyana and was a resident of Marrero, LA. He retired from Northside Electric as an electrician. Jerry served in the Vietnam War while enlisted in the United States Army. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
