Gerald R. Causin, Sr.

Gerald R. Causin, Sr. passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Theresa Richoux Causin of 59 years. Loving father of Randy (Holly), Jerry, Karen (Glynn), Steven (Mary), and Michael (Paula). Grandfather of Daina (Clint), Chad (Brandi), Devin (Jessica), Kyle, Griffen, Meredith (David), Magadelyn (AJ), Blake and Amelia. Great Grandfather of Ty, Ethan, Cole, Owen, Jaden, Jace, Riley, Elijzh, Caleb, Samantha, and Whitney. Son of the late John and Olivia Causin. Brother of the late Romona Foret (Ricky), Eldon (Bernice), Marvin, Sr. (Rose), and Roland, Sr. (Francis). Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. Gerald was a life long resident of Harvey and a dedicated Parishioner of St. Rosalie Catholic Church in Harvey. Gerald enjoyed playing golf with his friends and spending time with his family and grand kids. As a husband, father and friend, he will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
