Gerald Anthony Dias on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Beloved husband of Deann Simoneaux Dias for 54 years. Father of Karen Devillier (Michael Shannon), Delane Newby (Ted) and the late Jennifer Dias. Grandfather of Cory Devillier, Kayla Shannon and Dorian Glenn-Chamberlain (Michael). Brother of Catherine Sanders, Patsy Harris, Donald Dias and the late Jerry Dias. Son of the late Florence E. Sparks and Edward Nicholas Dias. Mr. Dias was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Korean War. Age 78 yrs., a native of Plaquemine, Louisiana and a resident of Waggaman, Louisiana for the past 46 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11 AM.
