Gerald Paul Guidroz

On July 12, 2016, at the age of 77, Gerald Paul Guidroz was reunited with his parents, Severn Guidroz Sr. and Elizabeth Wattigney Guidroz. He will also join all of his siblings, Severn Guidroz Jr., Joyce Moss, Alvera Gauthreaux, Eleanora Aupied, and Gail Graus Hartman. Gerald served in the United States Army and worked for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for 49 years. His mission in life was simple, he cared deeply for his family and friends and was always the voice of reason. He provided the hands and mind that assisted anyone who asked. He will be forever missed by his best friends and caregivers Emile "Bubby" Gauthreaux Jr., Catherine "Tootsie" Gauthreaux, Debra Gauthreaux, Gerald "Jerry" Aupied and Monsignor Albert Bergeron. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews from coast to coast. A special thanks to Heart of Hospice and his sitters Joyce "Peaches" and Margaret.
