Gerald Mitchell Guidry, Sr. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Beloved husband of Connie Bealer Guidry for 43 years. Loving father of Connie DiGiovanni (Phillip), Allison Wilbur (Dr. Ernest), Allen Stein (Belinda), Gerald Guidry, Jr., (Tammy) and Tiffeny Cook (Justin). Brother of Judy Foret (Ron) and JoAnn Buquet (Gilbert). Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Son of the late Clavilla Breaux Guidry and Stanley M. Guidry. Age, 69 years. A native and resident of Gretna, LA. Mr. Guidry was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Parlors will be open Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM. The family wishes to specially thank the Doctors and Nurses of the VA especially Veronica Eicker for their care and compassion and to the Gretna Police Dept. for their support during this difficult time.
