Gerald J. "Pee Wee" Oubre

Gerald J. “Pee Wee” Oubre passed away on February 15, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved father of Gerald J. Oubre Jr. (Vickie), Kimberly O. Hayden (Tom), Rachele O. LeGlue (Troy) and the late Gregory Oubre. Grandfather of Gerald “Trey” Oubre III, Ashley Oubre, Lori Folse, Colin LeGlue, Carly LeGlue and Hunter LeGlue. Great-grandfather of Gabriel Barreto. Brother of Lucien Oubre Jr., Robert Oubre Sr., Michael Oubre Sr., Janice LeCompte and Jane Buquet. Son of the late Lucien J. Oubre Sr. and Florence Klibert Oubre. Also survived by his dear friend Marie Trosclair and family along many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Gerald served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as a crane operator for T. Smith and Sons.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 5 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 8 AM to 11 AM.
