Gerald “Gerry” John Punch, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of 8 years to Elizabeth Chivleatto Punch. Son of Gerald John Punch, Sr. and Elsie Marie Rodriguez Punch. Step father of Courtney Thompson and husband James and Dawn Dufrene and fiancé Fernando. Grandfather of Blaine Joseph Gisclair, James “J.R.” Thompson Jr., Caden Thompson and Leia Fontenot. Brother of Tina Arceneaux and husband Mark, Cheryl Chambers and husband Steve and Doreen Maury and husband Merlyn. Gerry is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He is also the beloved and devoted canine companion of Bud, Hunnie and Teedoe. Gerry was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Marrero, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
