Gerald J. “Paco” “Boogie” Ullo was born on May 31, 1941 and entered into Eternal Rest on February 9, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. He was 73 years of age. Beloved husband of 54 years to Betty Landry Ullo. Father of Sandy Loar and Heidi Guillot. Father-in-law of Daniel Loar and Steven Guillot. Grandfather of Chentel “Shinny” Cretini, Jodi Davenport (husband Joe), Dustin Loar and Jeremy Guillot (wife Valerie). Great-grandfather of Faith Davenport and Daytona Guillot. Beloved brother to Scherry A. Sandras and Dale P. Ullo. Son of the late Anthony “Tony” Ullo and Ethel Vedros Ullo. Gerald was also survived by many loving relatives, friends and his canine companion “Precious”. He will be sadly missed.
Gerald retired from Avondale Shipyard after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a former member of the Night Cruisers Car Club and was the proud owner of a personally restored 1955 Chevy. The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Legacy and Canon Hospice and special thanks is extended to his home health care nurse, Jennifer.
Relatives, friends and employees of Jefferson Parish School System and retirees of Avondale Shipyard are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11 AM.
