Geraldine Dufrene Gros

On Friday, November 25, 2022, Geraldine Dufrene Gros, loving wife and mother of five, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. Geraldine was born on April 20, 1938 in New Orleans, LA. In 1954, she married Jerry Gros. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents, Norman Joseph Dufrene and Jeanne Marie Boudreaux Dufrene and her grandson, Timothy Gros Jr.

She is survived by her 5 children, Odie, Daurene, Timothy Sr, Cornell, and Mark; grandchildren, DeAnna, Colleen, Rachel, Danielle, Michael, Tiffany, Mark Jr., and Jessica along with 16 great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Jacqueline and Nanette with Hospice Specialties for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 9am to 11am. A Service of the Word will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
