Geraldine Brossette Gulizo

Geraldine Brossette Gulizo passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the age of 89 years.
She was born in New Orleans and resided in Marrero for the past 61 years. Wife of the late Dominick A. Gulizo Sr. Mother of Dominick Jr. (Sharon), John (Melanie), Anthony (Penny), Donna G. Randazzo (Johnny) and Alfred Brossette, Jr. Loving grandmother of Cody, Ashten, Dominick III and Kristen Gulizo, John A. Randazzo III and Amber R. Peskin. Great-grandmother of Dominick and Sophia Randazzo, Lucy Peskin and Kinley Krantz. Sister of Jack Brossette and Alfred Brossette Sr.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frances Dowling and Francis J. Brossette; sisters, Mamie B. Standidge, Eileen B. Odom and her brother, Frank Brossette. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Gerrie appreciated the simple things in life. Her faith and her family were most important. She was a caregiver to those in need, an excellent cook and she loved to share the stories of her life and did so with humor.
The family would like to thank the employees of Total Home Health, especially her nurses, Nicole and Cindy, her aide Jessica and the nursing staff at West Jefferson Medical Center.
