Gina Maria Cardenal Daigle

Gina Maria Cardenal Daigle passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. She fought a long hard journey with heart disease and longed to live for her kids and grandkids. Age 59 and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Rita Cardenal. She is survived by two daughters, Erica Daigle Troulliet and Nicole Daigle DiGiovanni and son-in-law Chad DiGiovanni. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Alexi Troulliet, Kristin Riviere Dugar, Taylor Troulliet, Brendan and Tyler DiGiovanni and two great grandchildren, Dominick Mitchell and Bentley Humphrey. And her shadow, her dog Poopee. Also survived by two brothers Robert (Louise) and Lenny (Shelia) Cardenal and numerous nieces and nephews including her godchild Fadra Cardenal Ussery. She will be greatly missed as she was always the center of everyone's attention and loved to tell it like it was. She was an employee of KB Toys for 20 years until their close where she made lifetime friendships. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn South Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
