In loving memory of Ginger Hunter Guastella who entered eternal rest on April 10, 2025 at 74 years of age. She was a lifelong resident of the Westbank, who graduated from Immaculata High School, and was a beloved central member of the parish community at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (formerly St. Rosalie Catholic Church). She was devoted to her work at LCMC West Jefferson Medical Center as a Perioperative Business Manager. Ginger was a passionate and energetic LSU fan who always tried to wear some purple and gold. She is survived by her husband Wayne Guastella and her two children Angela and Michael Guastella, a granddaughter Parker Sandefer, and her sister, Jane Hunter, along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (formerly St. Rosalie Catholic Church), 600 2nd Avenue, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
Family friends are invited to wear their purple and gold finery to celebrate the life, legacy, and spirit of Ginger.
