Giorgina M Trippi Hargis

Giorgina M. Trippi Hargis, age 98, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Vincent M. Trippi who was the father of her children. She was fortunate to find love again and remarried and spent 18 wonderful years with the late Alvin A. Hargis Sr. Daughter of the late Guido Mazzoncici and the late Maddelena Cappeli. Mother and mother-in-law of Alvin A. Hargis, Jr. (Gretchen), Michael Trippi (Jill), Diane Hargis Myer (Michael), Ann E. Trippi Naquin (Steve). Sister of Gina Spadacci (Julio). Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Giorgina work as a sales auditor in the retail industry and was a member of the Italian American Society. She was a volunteer for West Jefferson Hospital for over 10 years and for the Aquarium of the Americans for more than 2 years.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in Lakelawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA.

The family would like to thank her caregiver, Deborah Francis, for her love, compassion and assistance.
