Gladys "Polly" Chisum

Gladys “Polly” Chisum passed in peace with her family by her side, November 15, 2012. A resident of Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center for several happy years. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack of Bastrop, LA as well as a great granddaughter Lydie Life and grandson, Brent Rozas. She is survived by her two daughters, Margie Cowart of Fairhope, AL, and Beth Rozas (Earl) of Gretna, LA, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born in Hamburg, AR in 1918 to Elizabeth Cole and Thomas Guy Duckworth then lived many years in Bastrop, LA. In New Orleans she was administrative assistant to Dr. Harold Tabb at Tulane University School of Medicine for fifteen years. A prayer gathering will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2 PM at Our Lady of Wisdom Chapel, 5600 General DeGaulle Drive, New Orleans, LA in her honor. Friends are invited to join her family.
