Gladys Yolanda Figueroa Palacios entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of 24 years to Miguel Palacios. Daughter of Gustavo Figueroa and the late Estela Figueroa. Mother of Juan Angel Funez Figueroa, Gladys Peralta (Husband Francisco Lagos), Sonia Peralta (Jose Abrigo), Omar Peralta (Lissette Salmeron) and Miguel Palacios, Jr. Grandmother of Jackie, Melissa, Chris, Omar, Melanie, Jahir, Ruth, Ariel, Omar “Gordo”, Bianca, Briana and Cynthia. Gladys was born in La Ceiba, Honduras and was a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 18 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 6PM until 12 Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM.
