Glenda White Dupre

Glenda White Dupre, a gentle soul, passed away on February 18, 2014 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her brothers Wayne and Roger White and her dear friend and caregiver, Yvonne Melancon. Preceded in death by her mother, Matilda Kass White who was the first organist at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church; her father, Walter White, Sr. who was Marshall of Westwego and was killed in the line of duty in 1939; brothers, Walter Jr., Charley, Roland and Henry White; sisters, Bea Arabie, Ethel Marcello, Jenny Simmon, Claire Falcone, Alouise Sevin and her husband, Clarence Dupre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a native of Westwego, LA and resided in New Orleans and Marrero, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego.
