Glenn Strother, Jr.

Glenn Strother, Jr. an avid Saints Fan peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved, loving and devoted father of Penny Bergeron (Timmy, Sr.), Nicole Theriot (Lee) and Brandy Ortego (Ron). Loving Grandfather of Ryan, Bryan, Hollie, Laura, Michael, Cameron, Timmy Jr., Damon, Ronald, Jacob and Gavin. Great Grandfather of Ava. Brother of George, Margaret, Lorraine and the late Sara and Glenn. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Strother, Sr. and Evelyn Stinger Strother. He was born in New Jersey and was a resident of Marrero for many years. He served in the Vietnam War while enlisted in the United States Army. The family is requesting family and friends to wear Saints Attire. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 9AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
