Gloria Standridge Bowman, age 71 passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Beloved wife of Sam Bowman, Sr. for 18 years. Daughter of the late Herberto Standridge and Juanita Ham. Mother of Shawn Kleinpeter (Marty), Jeffery Kleinpeter (Kris) and Kurt Kleinpeter (Pamela). Stepmother of Sam Bowman, Jr. (Melissa), Samantha Bowman and Cheryl Frourt (Steve). Grandmother of Nia Legaux, Lance Legaux, Ashley Bowman, Lance Lege, Kenny Lege, Michael, Justin, Megan and Michaela Kleinpeter. Sister of Beverly Standridge Lege and the late Dennis Standridge. Gloria was a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
