Gloria Chesnut Brown, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Warren J. Brown. Daughter of the late Nathaniel J. Chesnut, Sr. and Irene Marques Chesnut. Mother of Gloria St. Pierre (Husband Raymond) and June Hebert (Husband Preston). Sister of Nathaniel J. Chesnut, Jr. and the late Edward M. Chesnut, Mildred Palmes and Nathalie LeBlanc. Grandmother of R.J. St. Pierre (Wife Kate), Renee Phillips (Husband Joel), Paul St. Pierre (Fiancé Jenny), Philip St. Pierre and P.J. Hebert, III (Fiancé Heather). Great Grandmother of Grace Tompkins and 1 expected great grandson. Gloria was a member of the Theta Golden Age Club, Catholic Daughters and Holy Name of Mary Nucleus Alumni Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 9AM until 1PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Algiers, LA.
