Gloria Carlisle

Gloria Carlisle was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was 82 years old, a native of Baltimore, MD and a lifelong resident of Belle Chasse, LA. She was the daughter of Oscar & Gertrude Ball. Gloria was a very loving and caring wife to the late Willie (Bob) Carlisle for 45 years. She was preceded in death by beloved sons AB (Beatle), Robert and beloved son-in-law Ronnie. Gloria loved her husband, children, grandchildren, family & friends deeply. Gloria is survived by her sister Audrey, and daughters Gloria (Edward), Angie (Kevin), and Melissa and sons Ronnie (Carol), Richard (Linda), Michael (Sandy), Mitchell (Kim). Grandmother to Jason, Vanessa, Blaine, Dustin, Joelle, Aimee, August, D.J., J.K., Tiffany, Dayton, Kristen, Marcus, Adam, and Jenna. Great-grandmother to Zackary, Katie, Chesney, Aeriel, Chance, Delaney, Zack, Sienna and Mason. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Gloria will be sadly missed and she will always be in our hearts forever. All relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Whitney National Bank in memory of Gloria Carlisle.
