Gloria Tuttle Hinchey was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 14, 1936. Her laughter, joy, and enormous heart touched everyone she ever came in contact with. All you ever had to do was meet her once and she’d be unforgettable for a lifetime. Her most prized possessions were her husband James, her grandson Landon, and her granddog Bacchus. Gloria was loving, loyal, and fiercely protective. She was the most kind and caring person anyone could ever personally meet. Her love of life was strong and her passion for food, music, and sparkly jewelry was all she’d rave about. Gloria was also firm in her faith and believed with her whole heart with complete childlike trust in Jesus. She’d stay up all hours of the night reading her Bible and praying for her husband, grandson, his brothers, friends, and her other family members from her prayer book that she always kept by her side. Gloria is survived by her grandson, Landon Tuttle, and her granddaughter-in-law, Victoria. She is also survived by her daughters Cindy, Cathy, Susan, and Julie, and many great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Frances Baran, She passed away alongside her soulmate, James almost like Romeo and Juliet. Private Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 8, 2025. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME assisted the family during this difficult time. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories and condolences online at www.mothefunerals.com.
