Gloria Heaton Lapeyrolerie

Gloria Heaton Lapeyrolerie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 on her birthday at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank V. Lapeyrolerie; her parents, John “Whitey” Heaton Sr. and Edna Cumie Niklaus; her brothers, John Heaton Jr. and Teddy Wayne Heaton. She is the devoted mother of Robert D. Smith Jr., Teresa Smith Douglas and Kitty Smith Penaranda (Roberto). She is the loving grandmother of Tanya Lacey (Travis), Bobby Douglas (Sarah) and Stephen Chambers (Staci). She is the great grandmother of Seth, Alexander, Daisy Mae, Annabella, Abigail, Bobby and Jack. She is the sister of Darlene Heaton Ford and Linda Heaton Hall. She is also survived by her cousin, Annie Ruth Walden; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thank you to the caring and loving staff of Westbank Lighthouse. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, May 19, 2017 beginning at 11:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM all at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret Street, New Orleans, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna.
