Gloria Inez Quinonez Peterson passed away on November 18, 2015. Beloved wife of Anthony W. Peterson. Mother of Lonnie J. Peterson, Jeana Rendek (Bob), and Frances Prusha. Grandmother of Jamie Peterson, Daniel Prusha, Angelica Rendek, and Bailey Nicole Peterson. Great-grandmother of Jackson Howe and expected Audrey Rose Howe. Daughter of the late Juventino Quinonez and Santos Martinez Quinonez. Raised by her late grandmother Francesca Arrisola. Sister of Edward Lopez, Edmund Lopez, Elisa Trevino, Ilona Hopper, and the late Joseph Lopez and Manuel Lopez. Sister-in-law of Dan Peterson (Donna) and Edward Peterson (Gloria). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 75 years, a native of Beeville, TX and a resident of Algiers, LA. Gloria received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI and retired as owner and director of Gloria’s Pre-School and Day Care in Belle Chasse, LA. She had a fun, loving, and caring spirit. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed life and traveling the world. Interment will be private at a later date.
