Gloria Nepveaux Schmitt

Gloria Nepveaux Schmitt was born on August 1, 1932 to Olsen and Nelia Nepveaux. The oldest of 3 daughters. Joan and Beverly (deceased) were her little sisters. Gloria wed the love of her life Melvin Schmitt on June 2, 1956 and they gave life to Michael (Alicia), Patrick, Pamela (Warren Seher) and David (Jeanne). Gloria dedicated her life to raising her children and loved her grand babies immensely (Nicole, Brigid, Michael, Jesse, and Dustin). She took pride in caring for her home. She was a native of Algiers LA and a member of the original Neferatari carnival club. She is survived by all four children, and five grand children. She will go on to meet Melvin in the hereafter. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:30pm.
