Gloria "Bubs " Donahue Wattigny

Gloria “Bubs” Donahue Wattigny of Gretna, LA on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Beloved wife of the late John Morgan “JR” Wattigny. Mother of Robert Lyle “Bob” Wattigny, Sr. Gloria was born on October 24, 1929 to the late Felicie Taullie Donahue and James William Donahue, Sr. She is the sister of Mrs. Marion D. Williams (Husband David) and the late Capt. James W. Donahue, Jr. (Wife Rachael). Gloria is also survived by three grandsons, John Morgan, Robert Lyle, Jr. and Douglas Fredrich Wattigny and her great grandson, Brycen Lyle Wattigny. Relatives and friends, also Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Friends of Little Sisters of the Poor and Italian-American Society of Jefferson are invited to attend the celebration of her life and visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 500 Eliza Street, Algiers Point on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
