GlynRae Boudreaux Waguespack

GlynRae Boudreaux Waguespack passed away very peacefully in the morning of Monday, August 12, 2024. She is the mother of Rhea Simonson (Dr. Charles), Valerie Paden (Richard) and Nicole Pertuit (Douglas). Daughter of the late Morris L. Boudreaux and Pearly Theriot Boudreaux. Loving Grandmother of Triniti Brown (Alex), Ashley Steinhauer (Cassidy), Taren Hendrickson (Wade), Erin Pier (Devin), Amy Hofmann (Kenneth) and Presleigh Varnado (Tyler). Step Grandmother of Justin Simonson (Jennifer), Dylan Simonson (Dr. Casandra) and Amy Coombs (Stephen). Great Grandmother of Camella, Emrys, Cross, Collins,Jaxon, Rett, Avery, Briley, Case, Coral, Cove, Cayo, Eliana, Savannah, Austin and Jackson. Beloved and loving sister of Brenda B. Sevier (the late Wayne). GlynRae is also survived by many loving relatives. She was a lifetime parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego. She was raised in Westwego and resided in Marrero. GlynRae retired from the State, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in Gretna. She enjoyed the beauty parlor, Marrero Senior Center and line dancing. The family would like to thank LCMC West Jefferson, Wynhoven Rehab and the sitters who were always on call. Also, a special thanks goes to her son-in-law, Charlie who kept her with us for 90 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Avenue A and 4th Streets, Westwego, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the church on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will follow Mass in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery Number 1 in Westwego.
