Godfrey Paul Portier

Godfrey Paul Portier passed away on March 12, 2011 at the age of 83 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Alma Posey Portier. Son of the late Lorena Emelie Naquin Portier and Sylvester Arnold Portier. Dear friend of Laura Bozant. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a Tax Auditor and was a Board member of the Internal Revenue Credit Union where he held several offices. He was also a member of A.A.R.P., N.A.R.F.E., Christ the King Elders, Theta Golden Agers and was honored as a recipient of the Order of St. Louis Medallion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
