Grace Hingle Ballay passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Hewitt John “Toki” Ballay. Mother of Barry J. Ballay, Melody Ballay, Wayne, Lionel “Boo Goo” and Hewitt John Ballay, Jr. Mother-in-law of Karen Ronquillo Ballay. Daughter of the late Joseph Hingle and Anna Victoria Lassas Hingle. Sister of the late Vivian Garnett, Joseph, Irvin “Fritz”, Vernon “Kelly” and James “Jimmy” Hingle. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, age 95 years, a native of Empire, LA and past resident of Slidell, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church, Empire, LA on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery. Visitation will take place at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday from 6 PM to 10 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 9 AM.
