Frances Bergeron Bruce

Frances Bergeron Bruce passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Richard Anthony Bruce for 45 years. Mother of Janet DePhillips, Sheri Buras (David), and Dannell Tassin (Bernard). Daughter of the late Althea and Lauze Bergeron, Sr. Sister of Beverly Morvant, Gwendolyn Comeaux and the late Lauze Bergeron, Jr. Sister-in-law of Sheila Bergeron. Grandmother of Clyde DePhillips III (Brandi), Alexander Buras, Lindsey Tassin and Evan Tassin. Great grandmother of Chase and Brody DePhillips. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a devoted Catholic and a resident of Harvey, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Second Harvest food bank or the charity of your choice.
