Grace Devincent King

Grace Devincent King passed away on November 29, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Otto C. King, Sr. Mother of Robert King (Robin), Otto “Bo” King, Jr. (Cindy), Meri K. White (Michael Haley), Joseph King (Lisa) and Teri K. Sikoski (Mark). Grandmother of Mindy, Ava, Ashley, Jennifer, Renee, Robbie, Amanda, Cori, Chris, Nina, Jami and Andrew. Survived by many great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Jimmy and Carolyn Devincent, Joe and Claire Devincent, Theresa and Clarence Whites, Marie and Virgil “Curly” Kaiser. Daughter of the late Mary Maggio Devincent and Blaize Devincent.
She worked as a pre-school teacher at Gretna United Methodist Church School. Grace was very active at Christ the King Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road in Terrytown on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park. Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
