Grace Sanchez McCormick

Grace Sanchez McCormick passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Royce I. McCormick Jr. Loving mother of Royce McCormick III (Elsie), Shane McCormick (Shannon), and Kirk McCormick (Amy). Grandmother of Kaitlyn, Cameron, Breanne, Karli, Kathryn, and Kaden. Sister of Diane Sanchez, Shirley LeBlanc (Joe), and Linda Badeaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Angela Bourgeois Sanchez and Leon Sanchez, along with several brothers and sisters.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

Grace was a devout Christian and member of Westbank Cathedral for many years where she could be found meeting and greeting before Sunday service. She was a loving caregiver to the elderly, helping with shopping chores or doctor’s visits. She touched so many hearts and lives and will be sadly missed.

Family and friends may gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 11am to 1pm. Prayers will be shared in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
