Grace Williams Mobley

Grace Williams Mobley went to join Our Lord, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 93 years of age, leaving behind the family she dearly loved. Her son Danny(Darienne), daughter Wanda (Mike), a brother Zack Williams. Grandmother of Kenneth Mobley (Maggie), Michelle Pentes, Danielle M. Bosse(Ricky) and Arielle Pentes-Waters (Scotty). Step grandmother to Storey Kate Wilson. Great grandmother to Parker, Reece, Bryce, Meghan, Emily, Leila, Emma and Madeleine. Step great grandmother to Adrianna Waters and affectionately called Mame' by all. She was married 71 years to the late Frank Joseph Mobley. Grace was born in Winn Parish ,LA to Zack Williams and Joda Bettis Williams. She graudated from Louisiana State Normal College. Teaching was her passion which started at her alma mater, Calvin High School and continued when she moved to New Orleans, LA. She taught at Holy Name of Mary Grammar, Sacred Heart of Jesus Grammar and High School and later at Seton Academy. Grace had a great love for the School Sisters of Notre Dame with whom she taught for 32 years. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the School Sister of NotreDame, St. Mary of the Pines, 3167 Old Hwy 51-S, Chatawa, MS 39632-0038 Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey LA on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1 PM. Visitation will be Friday from 11 AM until 1 PM. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna LA
