Gregoria “Gloria” Amaya Waterhouse entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Russell Waterhouse Whitefield, Sr. Mother of Emma Waterhouse, Mary W. Bodden (Jake), Russell Waterhouse, Jr. (Marla), and Mario Waterhouse, Sr. (Dawn). Grandmother of Taryn Waterhouse (fiancé Brittain Bercegeay), Ashman Waterhouse, Hailly Waterhouse, Ciji Boutian (Bubby), Shea Troutman (Corey), Mario Waterhouse, Jr., and the late Jake Bodden, Jr. Great-grandmother of Bubby Boutian Jr., and Bailyn Boutian. Daughter of the late Francisco Amaya and Matilde Reanos Amaya. Sister of Alonzo Amaya, and the late Vivian Reanos, and Modesto Amaya. Age 80 years, a native of Cortes, Honduras and a resident of Harvey, LA since 1982. Gloria loved helping her son, at his Garden Center, Creative Gardens and Landscaping. Some of her favorite past times were going to Boomtown Casino, Vacationing in Honduras, and dancing the night away. She loved her children, grandkids, and great grandkids, dearly.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:30 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until funeral time.
