Gwendolyn Gonzalez Vinet passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday,
August 30, 2012.
Beloved wife of Edward J.Vinet for fifty-one years.
Loving mother of Evelyn Vinet Hinton (husband, Louis), Yvette Vinet Williams (husband, Andrew) and the late Yvonne Vinet Cheramie. Also survived by son-in-law Kurt Cheramie.
Grandmother of Cory Cheramie, Andrew Williams IV, Anthony Williams and Jenna Cheramie.
Daughter of the late Edward E. Gonzalez and Evelyn Joubert Gonzalez.
Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Mrs. Vinet, age 72 years, was a Teacher’s Aide at St. Rosalie Catholic School for 15 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. A Funeral Mass will then be conducted at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Interment will follow at St.Vincent Cemetery No. 1 on Soniat St. in New Orleans, LA. For additional information call 504-366-4343.
