H. Duane Cross

H. Duane Cross passed away on May 3, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Alice “Dovie” Hughes Cross who preceded him in death on May 21, 2011. Son of the late Leslie M. and Anna P. Cross of Sheridan, Wyoming. Loving father of Gail Cross Miller, Jeffrey Duane Cross (Wife Julie), Robert James Cross and Linda Kay Cross. Proud and loving Grandfather to his only grandchild, Thomas W. Miller, III. They will all be forever grateful for the love and support they received from their parents and grandparents. Mr. Cross served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict. After his military service, Mr. Cross earned a degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Wyoming. He worked in the metals refining industry until his retirement. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Gifted Healthcare nurses, Heart of Hospice and St. Margaret’s at Belleville for their kindness and care. Memorial Services will be held in Montana later this summer for both Duane and Dovie. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
