Hal Thomas Theriot

Hal Thomas Theriot, a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA departed this life and entered eternal rest on June 20, 2012 at the age of 66. Beloved and loving husband of Joy Hopel Theriot and devoted father of Stacie Cohran (Chris), Abbie Theriot and Ty Theriot (Beth). Loving grandfather of Tyler Barras, Kyle Theriot, Lindsey Scardina, Gage Desadier, Marissa and Kayla Theriot. Son of the late Helena Falgoust Theriot and Tracy Theriot. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Alvy (Pelou) Theriot, Madie Brock, Shelby (Tina) Dufrene, Roger Dale Theriot and Patricia (Pinky) Fayard. Hal is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, the late Remelton (Flem) Theriot, Emelda (Shirley) Sigur, Carroll (Coy) Theriot, Trudy Courteaux and Germaine (Jo) Savoie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harvest Time Fellowship Church, 3401 8th Street, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
