Hansell Paul Bowers, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Barbara Ann Greene Bowers. Son of the late Hansell Paul Bowers, Sr. and Irma France Bowers. Father of Paul C. Merritt, Jack E. Allen, Jr. and William D. Allen. Grandfather of Ashley E. Merritt, Cole T. Allen-Cason, Rubin Morales, Jr., Eugene F. Wermuth, Emily C. Merritt, Jack E. Allen III and Emily P. Horton. Great Grandfather of Jude Horton and Evangeline “Eve” Horton. Brother of Gerald “Fuzzy” J. Bowers, Judith “Judy” B. Courtney and Russell A. Bowers. Hansell was born in Buras, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10AM until 12PM. Funeral Services will be held the funeral home on Saturday at 12PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
