Harry C. Morgan peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the age of 78. Former husband of the late Joan Kappel by first marriage and the late Carol Elliott Morgan by second marriage. Son of the late Edward Fenwick Morgan and Sadie May Wallis Morgan. Loving father of Timothy John Morgan (Mary Ann), Christopher Louis Morgan (Mary Brown) and Jayna Ann Morgan Decuers (Chad). Beloved grandfather of Stephanie and Michelle. Great Grandfather of Kason, Jeremiah and a baby girl due in March. Brother of the late Polly Morgan, Jennie Morgan, Maurice Morgan, Edward Morgan, Jr., Benjamin Morgan, Virginia Morgan, Gladys Morgan, Doris Morgan, Wallis Morgan, John Morgan, Willie Morgan, Richard Morgan and Thomas Morgan. Harry is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was born in Gibson, LA and was a resident of Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA. He served his country in the United States Army from which he retired. He also retired from the United States Department of Agriculture and LB&B. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School and he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Mount St. Mary. Harry was a member of the American Legion of Marrero.
