Hashem Salomon on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Beloved husband for 46 years of Diane Millet Salomon. Father of Brian J. Salomon (Lona) and Honald A. Salomon (Christy). Grandfather of Brittany, Brett, Alyssa, and Ally Salomon. Brother of Amina Gillard, Nadia King, Widadi, Dailia, Fatima, Khater Salomon, and the late Manuel Salomon. Brother-in-law of Paul V. Millet (Cheryl). Son of the late Manuel and Maria Pitre Salomon. Mr. Salomon was employed by Avondale Shipyard for 40 years as a Foreman. He was an avid golfer and was very proud to have made his first hole in one on his 70th birthday. He served in the U.S. National Guard and was a coach at Avondale Playground. Age 70 years, a native of Bluefield, Nicaragua and a resident of Avondale, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Bonaventure Church, 329 S. Jamie Street, Avondale, LA on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Angels Cemetery, Waggaman, LA. Visitation will be at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Friday from 8 AM until 10 AM.
