Hawaii Mary Drake

Hawaii Mary Drake passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 4:06 PM at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Drake, Jr. for 55 years. Loving mother of April Winn (Don), Denise Drake, Roxann Voltolina (Mike), and the late Clarence “Pookie” Montecino, Jr. Grandmother of Kim, Kelly, Angie, Donnie, Darin, Heather and Mikey. Sister of Jackie Guillot, Carmen Guidroz, the late Patricia Worley, Oage (Earline) and Sterling Guidroz. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, family friends. Daughter of the late Lucretia Vanacor and Noah L. Guidroz. A native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA. An avid tennis player from ages 60 to 85, Mrs. Drake was a member of the Green Acres Country Club. She was also an excellent basketball player.
A Celebration of her life will be held at her home in Kenner, LA for the immediate family on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1 PM.
