Hazel Chang Ritzman

Hazel Chang Ritzman, a resident of Belle Chasse, LA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of Richard O. Ritzman. Mother of Hilma Morales (Carlo Pesce), Eduardo Morales, Richard Ritzman, Robert Ritzman (Sophie), Alicia Ritzman (Manuel Ovalle) and the late Fernando Ritzman. Grandmother of Francesco Carlo , Juanita Eloise, Susan, Hilma Cecilia, Fernando Jr., Christina, Nicholas, Landon, Cooper and Sofia. Great-grandmother of Francesco Emmanuel, Cecilia, Braelynn and Leni. Sister of Daisy Chang, the late Basil Chang, Miriam Delgado and Betty Woods. Daughter of the late Hilma Duncan Chang and Basil Chang. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
She retired as a civilian from the U.S. Navy serving, among others, as secretary for the Commanding Officer of the Naval Medical Clinic in Algiers.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 1 PM until 4 PM. A Memorial Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel.
