Helen Murphy Brown passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Brown. Mother of the late Thomas Tompson, Jr. Grandmother of Thomas Tompson, III and the late Blaine Tompson. Great grandmother of Cameron Tompson. Sister of the late Rita LeBlanc and John J. “Mop” Murphy. Daughter of the late Irma Donahue Murphy and John J. Murphy. Mrs. Brown was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Church, corner of Alix and Verret, Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 12 noon.
