Henry George Magendie

Henry “Hank” G. Magendie passed away on June 19, 2013. A retired journeyman machinist, mechanic and maintenance superintendent he worked in and around the New Orleans area for the majority of his life. He was a veteran of the Navy and served his country during WWII. Beloved husband of Olive M. Magendie. He is survived by sons Mark Magendie, Kevin Magendie and Brian Magendie. Father -in-law to Connie Magendie, Roxy Magendie and Laura Williams Magendie, he was grandfather to Melissa, Melinda, Tansy, KK and great grandfather to Austin, Olivia and KK. He was preceded in death by his father Henry G. Magendie and mother Josephine Elizabeth Perez Magendie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Monday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
