Henry Ray Pitre

Henry "Ray" Pitre passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Vivian Pitre. Father of Eddi Rae Melton (Peter) and Keith Pitre (the late Lisa). Son of the late Callie and Henry Pitre. Brother of Dolores Pitre Ortego. Grandfather of James Melton, Nicholas Pitre, and Tiffany Pitre. Great grandfather of Connor Pitre and Vivian Pitre. Also survived by one nephew. He was a native of Port Arthur, TX and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 47 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2pm. Visitation will be held from 12noon until 2pm. Interment will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, privately at a later date.
