Henry G. Rodriguez

Henry G. Rodriguez, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Hazel MARGRETTE Rodriguez. Son of the late Alger and Helen Rodriguez. Father of Henry Rodriguez, Jr., Davey Rodriguez and Robin R. Osborne (Husband Gary). Grandfather of Shontell Young, Shelli Ergen, Katelyn Sannasardo and Sammy Sannasardo. Great Grandfather of Cole Young, Cade Young, Chloe Callahan, Tibet Ergen and 1 expected Great Grandchild. Brother of A.J. Rodriguez, Theresa Champagne and Margie Montet. Preceded in death by 6 sisters and 5 brothers. Henry is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Henry served in the US Army under General Patton’s 3rd Army European Theatre and also in the Asian Pacific Theatre. He was an active member and usher at St. Rosalie Catholic Church in Harvey, LA for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 222 in Marrero, VFW in Harvey, LA and the Carpenters Union. He was born in White Castle, LA and resided in Harvey, LA for the past 65 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 601 2nd Avenue, Harvey, LA on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rosalie Catholic Church on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
