Herbert Rene "Herb" Adams

Hebert “Herb” R. Adams, age 85 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Martha Louise Adams. Son of the late Leon Adams and Alice Brunet Adams. Father of Cheryl Ann Adams and Tanya Renee Adams. Grandfather of Teri Lynn Stewart, Justin Dale Stewart, Jon Walter Stewart and Joshua Shaun Caston. Great grandfather of Jayden Ray Stewart and Cora Lucille Wiggins. Brother of the late Gillis Adams, David Adams, Robert Adams, Sr., Percy Adams, Hubert Adams and Eula Mae Adams Boudreaux. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Herb was a veteran of World War II while enlisted in the United States Army. He was born in Larose, LA and residing in Gulfport, Mississippi for the past 3 years. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home at 11AM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery), Westwego, LA.
