Herman "Worm" Ferdinand Turlich, Jr.

Herman “Worm” Ferdinand Turlich, Jr., age 46 departed this earth on Friday, September 22, 2023.  He is survived by his children, Shea-Lee Mathieu, Gabriel P. Mathieu and Herman F. Turlich.  He had one grandson, Carter Jayce Mathieu.  Left to mourn his loss are his mother, Nadine M. Turlich; his sisters, Tammy Knox and her husband Larry, Edith Sanders and her husband the late Henry, Heidi Loveland and her husband Mike; his fiancé, Jeannie Turlich as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and numerous friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Herman “Sonny” F. Turlich, Sr.; his brother, Timothy P. Turlich; his Grandparents, Thomas and Anastasia Matherne and Frederick and Miriam Turlich.  Herman was a lifelong resident of Gretna, Louisiana.  He had an amazing talent as a tattoo artist.  His infectious smile and huge heart will be greatly missed.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 10AM until 1:30PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
