Hermena "Dolly" Hidalgo Bergeron

Hermena “Dolly” Hidalgo Bergeron entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Charles Allen Bergeron, Sr. Daughter of the late Adrien Paul Hidalgo and Hermena Carbo Hidalgo. Mother of Charles Allen”CJ” Bergeron, Jr. (Wife Catherine), Wayne Joseph Bergeron (Wife Judy), Dale Paul Bergeron (Wife Linda) and Charlene Bergeron Mire (Husband, the late Rickie Mire). Sister of Dorothy Medine and the late Claude Hidalgo, Chester Hidalgo, George Hidalgo, Una Blackard, Norman Hidalgo, Ora Dugas and Ollie Richard. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Hermena was born in Donaldsonville, LA and was a resident of Marrero, LA. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 206. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
