Herschel Lee Longino

Herschel Lee Longino of Belle Chasse, LA passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the age of 80. He was survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Wyonda Pinkerton Longino. Devoted father of Lonnie Longino (Susan), Tammy Landry, Kenneth Longino and the late Joseph Longino. Proud grandfather of Christie (Eddie), Randy (Danielle), Brittney, Vanessa, Tracy, Amy, Shane, Josh and Jordan. Great grandfather of Destany, Devin, Zackary, Emalee, Bryce, Tyler, Hailee, Landon, Janzen, Drew, Rilyn and Gracelyn. Son of the late L.C. Longino and the late Mary Agnes Lonadier. Step son of the late Joseph Preston Lonadier. Brother of the late Herman “Ray” Longino (Joyce), Adlene Norred (Billy), the late James Lonadier and Maxine Walker. He “Bubba Herschel” is also survived and will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Herschel served his country over 20 years as a proud member of the United States Air Force retired from Amax Refinery in Chalmette and was a member of the Mason Lodge of the state of Arkansas for 50 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 9AM. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 6 PM until 10PM and resume Friday from 8AM until service time.
