Hewitt John Gauthier Jr., 65, lost his battle with prostate cancer on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana. He passed peacefully with his family by his side.

Hewitt was born August 24, 1958, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, the oldest son to Margaret Gauthier and the late Hewitt Gauthier, Sr. He is survived by his siblings Michael, Randy (Sherri), Michelle (Mark), and Nicole (Jimmy).

Hewitt and his loving wife, Robin Fountain Gauthier, were together for 38 years. Hewitt had a son, Jacob, and a daughter, Cara, as well as three grandchildren, Tate, Gray and Vivienne.

Hewitt had numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

A celebration of life service will be held at the YMCA in Port Sulphur 278 Civic Dr, Port Sulphur, Louisiana on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 12pm to 4 pm.
